Who is Luis Zanforlin?

Luis is a lover of music, art, technology, and all things delight.

He has worked on multiple projects in the arts, technology, and education with a focus on virtual reality and immersion.

He started his career as an orchestral composer making spatial music for concerts and films. His VR work began at MIT where he engineered VR interfaces for quantum computers and contributed to teaching virtual reality and immersive media. He co-founded Maku XR, an experimental digital art studio where he developed several experiences designed to inspire joy and delight. He is the creator of locus, a spatial music notation symbol used by spatial and contemporary music composers.

Currently, Luis is the Head of VR Product and Engineering at the VR ed-tech startup Prisms.
